The Hornbeams B&B is situated in the village of Sutton, on the outskirts of the City of Hull and is within easy reach of the city centre, University, hospitals and North Sea Passenger Ferries (click here to see map). It is also adjacent to the Hornsea to Southport Transpennine walking and cycle Trail.
The house was built in 1880 and retains much of its Victorian charm.
We aspire to use fair trade products as much as possible and to be environment friendly.
Enjoy a full English breakfast, poached fish, or choose from our range of other options. All breakfasts include fair trade fruit, muesli, fruit juice, sugar and preserves as well as tea and coffee. We also serve home made jams and jellies using soft fruit from our own organic garden, made with fair trade sugar. We are happy to cater for vegetarians or vegans, and will do our best to meet your own dietary requirements.
Our suppliers include the Hull One World Shop, and The Fairground. Most of our bed linen is fair trade, organic cotton from Bishopston Trading, Gossypium, One Village and Traidcraft
We use environment friendly cleaning, laundry and personal care products from Bio D and try to dry towels and linen in the fresh air.
